Anne Phung Nguyen

Anne Phung Nguyen. I am an American Vietnamese entrepreneur living in the city of Orange California. Alongside my amazing partner JP and my jolly father Henry. People often recognize me as @annephung on Instagram and I write about my life from ups to the downs. At the age of 1 and a half years old My family and I immigrated to America. If it weren't due to the dedication of my parents, I wouldn't have been here to share the journey with people like you. In the hope of having a better life, I wanted to do my best to please them, and was focused on achieving my goals. My goal was to go to school in order to finish my studies and secure an excellent job. Then I wanted an empathetic wife and children. Though I believed that this was the definition of successful, my life was not following the goals. The year was 2013, and I realized that I was not happy being at my corporate job. The status and the money didn't not excite me. I thought I wasted my time to earn an income. As I navigated my way to a new direction in my career, I found that I was supposed to work as an instructor. I was a fan of exercise, I loved being around people and I enjoy helping others. This year I'll be celebrating the 7th year anniversary of my business. In 2014, I started my own small business. Within this industry there is a lack of Asian females. Within the field of coaching, I want to make a difference through providing high-quality training that will aid others to become healthier and more content. It is my aim for me to help others chase their dreams, and to lead the lives they've always wished for. While my career was taking off, I lost my mother. It was the hardest of all. The eight years she fought struggle with Scleroderma. Then she's in Heaven and I'll keep her in my heart. It's amazing how the world will teach us the exact lesson we need, even when we don't realize it. My loss has impacted my life in a variety of ways. It is my belief that her passing gave me the opportunity to begin the next chapter. Her death occurred at the age of 87 on Tet/Lunar New Year Day it was the perfect time to start her new life, and also I was given a second chance to live a happy, fulfilled and meaningful life. My 30's are the first time I really feel I am alive. My goal in the story I am sharing is to show you that you're not the only one. I would like you to feel that love is real and that therapy can be normal. Your health is truly the most important asset you have. There is only one chance to live. I hope you be the best version of yourself.
