Arike Ogunbowale

Arike ogunbowale (born 2nd April 1985) is an American professional basket ball player. She is a player for the Dallas Wings and the Women's National Basketball Association. Arike Ogunbowale was a college basketball player with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish before being drafted to the Wings as the fifth-overall pick for the 2019 WNBA. Arike Ogunbowale was born on the 2nd March, 1997 in Milwaukee Wisconsin to parents Yolanda and Gregory Ogunbowale. Mario Ogunbowale (26) and Dare Ogunbowale(20) are two of her siblings. She was the eldest child of her family, and her parents took care of her to the max. Her father Gregory was to the Nigerian Army for quite some duration. Ogunbowale grew in a busy family. The mother of the child Yolanda and brother Dare both played softball while attending DePaul. The aunt she played with was a volleyball player for UAPB as well as Endia is a volleyball player on the team at Tennessee State. Ogunbowale made the list of honors at her school three years in a row. The high school she attended brought her fame as well as fame. Arike completed her high school graduation at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School located in her home town. The school was accompanied by three years playing varsity. On July 7 2014 she was named to the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale has also been selected for the ACC All-Freshman Team for her first collegiate campaign.
