Anita Barone

Barone starred in The Shoes, an episode in Seinfeld's fourth season. She played Gail Cunningham, a chef who is looking for Elaine Benes' shoes. Barone was a cast member on Carol & Company, starring with Carol Burnett in the early 90s. Barone had played the role of her husband, Carol Willick Ross Geller in Friends her first appearance. Jane Sibbett, who replaced Barone after leaving the show in order to be a part-time character in a larger role, took her place. She was on The Jeff Foxworthy Show from 1995 through 1996 as well as The War at Home from 2005 to 2007. In 2000 Barone also co-starred in The sitcom Daddio. Barone's television credits also comprise Desperate Women, Curb Your Exuberance Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline and the City Party of Five The Larry Sanders Show. Barone received her Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award 2005 in 2004 for her work in the movie One Last Ride. Barone was cast as the mother to Bella Thorne and CeCe Jones in the year 2010 - just three years after The War at Home concluded it's running. Matthew Glave played J.J. Jones, the former husband of Barone's character on two of the episodes.
